STAVROZ - Ambient Soundtrack With Ksawery Komputery

Stavroz creates an exclusive ambient soundtrack for Wintercircus, composed specifically to run alongside the installation of Ksawery Komputery. Far removed from the band's usual dancefloor-oriented shows, this one is made for the couch: beatless, spacious and unhurried. Familiar pieces dissolve into new arrangements: an hour of music that breathes, built around peaks and valleys that rise and fall.

The installation itself is created by Ksawery Komputery, the creative technology studio behind HOLOTRIGGER. Their visual installation transforms Wintercircus from the moment doors open, and keeps running after the concert as an atmospheric closing loop, with Stavroz's soundtrack built to carry it all the way through. An hour before the show, biøs (sound artist and sound designer from the Ksawery Komputery studio) takes over the Arena with an ambient layer of his own.

Music lover, dreamer, or just in the mood for an evening with nowhere to rush to? This one's built to disappear into.

STAVROZ

Hailing from the land of compromise in the heart of Europe, the four friends of Stavroz found each other in the east of Flanders. In its inception, IJsbrand De Wilde & Gert Beazar focussed mainly on playing DJ sets and creating music in which they loved colliding worlds. Only a few years later they hooked up with Maxim Helincks & Pieter De Meester to expand their DJ activities to a performing band and continued to try and find an unbeaten path in electronic music. This culminated in their delicately acoustic, organic and cinematic approach to electronic music, earning them second place for “best producer” and “best breakthrough artist” in national awards for Belgium’s electronic scene.

Their EP “The Ginning” resulted in an early breakthrough, reaching gold status in France, dominating the nr. 1 spot on the Hype Machine, and chosen as vinyl of the month by Germany's “Faze Magazine” — mainly thanks to the B-side “The Finishing”, starring a compelling solo on the tenor saxophone. To keep freedom in their music production, they started their own record label, Moodfamily, on which their second hit single “Gold Town” was released. It held the nr. 1 spot on Beatport’s “Electronic Top 100” for months and was picked up by Rockstar Entertainment for GTA V's in-game music.

Now 11 years in, many of Stavroz’s songs are still relevant, quietly nudging towards timelessness — over half a million monthly Spotify listeners, over 100,000 followers, and 100 million plays across major streaming platforms. Their live performances have taken them to Coachella, Fusion Festival, Wonderfruit, Pukkelpop, Strawberry Fields, Tropico and Three Points Festival, and their acclaimed Cercle session at Fort Saint-Eynard, France, remains one of the purest translations of their sound to picture.
